RESEARCH INTERESTS
William Gallus’s research interests are related to improved forecasting of small-scale weather phenomena through improvements in numerical weather prediction models, ensemble design, and post-processing techniques. His research has primarily focused on severe storms and thunderstorm system rainfall, but more recently has broadened to include winds at turbine height.
